Sen. Ciccone named Chairman of Senate Committee on Labor

 STATE HOUSE – Sen. Frank A. Ciccone (D-Dist. 7, Providence, North Providence) has been appointed the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Labor by Senate President Dominick J. Ruggerio (D-Dist. 4, North Providence, Providence).
“I would like to express my gratitude to President Ruggerio for having the confidence in my ability to lead the Labor Committee in the Senate. The Labor Committee is an important committee that protects our labor force and ensures Rhode Island’s workers are treated fairly and I am eager to get to work with my colleagues on the committee,” said Senator Ciccone.
The Senate Committee on Labor deliberates legislation relating to workers’ compensation and labor laws.
