2/2/2021 Rep. Fenton-Fung receives committee assignments
STATE HOUSE – Rep. Barbara Ann Fenton-Fung (R-Dist. 15, Cranston) has been appointed by House Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi (D-Dist. 23, Warwick) to serve on the House Corporations, Education, Environment and Natural Resources, Small Business, and Special Legislation Committees.

“It is an honor to serve the residents of District 15 and Rhode Island on these committees that touch and affect significant aspects of their daily lives and well-being.  The pandemic has brought our state many challenges and all of our committees have serious work ahead of them, but I am eager to work for our residents and find the solutions that they deserve.  I thank Speaker Shekarchi for these appointments and I am looking forward to getting Rhode Island back on track after the devastation of the pandemic,” said Representative Fenton-Fung.

Elected in November of 2020, Representative Fenton-Fung is employed as a physical therapist by Lifespan. She is currently serving on the Providence Committee on Foreign Relations and the Cranston Substance Abuse Task Force.
