MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Subcommittees meet six times this week to continue hearing department budgets
STATE HOUSE – The House Finance Subcommittees will continue meeting this week to hear testimony on department budgets from the FY 2023 (
) budget and the FY 2022 (
) supplemental budget.
Tuesday, March 29 at the 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on Human Services, chaired by Rep. Alex D. Marszalkowski (D-Dist. 52, Cumberland), will hear testimony on the Department of Health.
Tuesday, March 29 at the RISE of the House in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on Public Safety, chaired by Rep. Jean-Phillipe Barros (D-Dist. 59, Pawtucket), will hear testimony on the Office of Attorney General, the Department of Public Safety, the Department of Corrections and Military Staff.
Wednesday, March 30 at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on General Government, chaired by Rep. Camille F.J. Vella-Wilkinson (D-Dist. 21, Warwick), will hear testimony on the Department of Labor and Training.
Wednesday, March 30 at 4 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on Human Services will hear testimony on the Department of Human Services and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
Thursday, March 31 at the 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on General Government will hear testimony on the Department of Administration.
Thursday, March 31 at the RISE of the House in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on Education, chaired by Rep. Gregg Amore (D-Dist. 65, East Providence), will hear testimony on the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
For all six hearings, individuals may testify in person before the committee at the State House. Sign-up sheets are available in/outside the hearing room.
