STATE HOUSE – Rep. Barbara Ann Fenton-Fung (R- District 15, Cranston) has been selected for the 2021 Council of State Governments Eastern Leadership Fellowship, a program held in conjunction with the University of Pennsylvania's Fels School of Government.
"To be bestowed this honor in my first year in the legislature is humbling. I look forward to learning from some of the best and brightest in state government and bringing home some new ideas to help jumpstart our state," said Representative Fenton-Fung.
Representative Fenton-Fung is one of thirty officials on the East Coast across all three branches of state government selected for the non-partisan program. Fellows are selected for their leadership potential, consensus-building skills, dedication to public service, and commitment to improving government institutions. This summer, Representative Fenton-Fung will attend the academy in Philadelphia where they will focus on regional public policies including transportation, healthcare, and education.
