Speaker Blazejewski announces staff appointments
|
STATE HOUSE — In addition to making the announcement earlier this week that Danica Iacoi has been named his chief of staff and special legal counsel, Speaker Christopher R. Blazejewski announced today that Jennifer Amerantes, his executive assistant when he was the Majority Leader, is now fulfilling that role in the Speaker’s Office.
Erin McKenna, who was the administrative assistant to several Representatives, is now the executive assistant to Majority Leader Katherine S. Kazarian.
Blazejewski said other senior staffers will remain in the roles they have filled under Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi: Nicole McCarty, chief legal counsel; Emmanuel Falck, deputy chief of staff; Lynne Urbani, policy director; Larry Berman, communications director; Stacy Custer, director of legislative operations; Jason Holt, legal counsel; and Emily Martineau, deputy communications director. Henry Kinch will continue to serve both the House and Senate as director of the Joint Committee on Legislative Services, which Blazejewski now chairs.
