MEDIA ADVISORY: Chairman Azzinaro to hold Military and Veterans Outreach Day on May 19
|
STATE HOUSE – House Veterans’ Affairs Committee Chairman Samuel A. Azzinaro (D-Dist. 37, Westerly) will be hosting the annual Military and Veterans Outreach Day next week on Tuesday, May 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the second floor of the State House.
The event will give veterans and their families an opportunity to network and get a greater understanding of the resources available to them.
“Twenty-four groups and organizations that help and support our service members, veterans and their families will be in attendance to speak with veterans about different supports and services available to them. I urge all veterans and their families to attend, and I thank the groups that are coming to support our veterans at the event,” said Chairman Azzinaro.
