Media Advisory: Rhode Island Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs to honor Sen. DiPalma, Rep. Ackerman Tuesday

STATE HOUSE — The Rhode Island Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs will honor Sen. Louis P. DiPalma and Rep. Mia A. Ackerman for their leadership and dedication to Rhode Island’s youth at its annual Legislative Appreciation Day at the State House Tuesday.
The event will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12, at 3 p.m. in the State Room on the second floor of the State House.
Youth of the Year nominees from local Rhode Island Boys & Girls Clubs will speak at the event and present the awards to Senator DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton) and Representative Ackerman (D-Dist. 45, Cumberland, Lincoln).
The Rhode Island Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs strives to strengthen and grow the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs across the state. Its mission is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
