MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Subcommittees meet three times this week to hear department budgets
|
STATE HOUSE – The House Finance Subcommittees will be meeting three times this week to continue hearing department budgets.
On Wednesday, March 18 at 4 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on General Government will hear the FY 26 revised and FY 27 budgets for the Department of Administration and the Department of Labor and Training. The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Alex D. Marszalkowski (D-Dist. 52, Cumberland).
On Thursday, March 19 at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Public Safety will hear the budgets for the Attorney General and the Emergency Management Agency. The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. William W. O’Brien (D-Dist. 54, North Providence).
Also on Thursday, March 19 at the RISE of the House (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Human Services will hear the budgets for the Office of the Mental Health Advocate and the Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals. The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Teresa A. Tanzi (D-Dist. 34, South Kingstown, Narragansett).
