MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Finance Committee meets tomorrow to hear budget articles and department budgets

STATE HOUSE – The Senate Finance Committee will be meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3 at the RISE of the Senate (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 211 of the State House to continue hearing budget articles and department budgets.
The committee is chaired by Sen. Louis P. DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton).
The committee will hear Article 6 (Capital Development Program) and Questions 2 (Housing and Homeownership) and 3 (Economic Development). It will also hear testimony on the FY 26 revised and FY 27 budgets for the Executive Office of Housing and the Executive Office of Commerce.
The meeting will be televised by Capitol Television on: Cox Communications, channels 15 and 61 for high definition; i3Broadband (Formerly Full Channel) on 15; and Verizon, on channel 34.
