MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Finance Committee meets today to hear budget articles and department budgets

STATE HOUSE – The Senate Finance Committee will be meeting today, Thursday, Feb. 26 at the RISE of the Senate (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 211 of the State House to continue hearing budget articles and department budgets.
The committee is chaired by Sen. Louis P. DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton).
The committee will hear Article 6, Question 6, which relates to the State History Center. It will also hear testimony on the FY 26 Supplemental and FY 27 budgets for the Secretary of State.
The meeting will be televised by Capitol Television on: Cox Communications, channels 15 and 61 for high definition; i3Broadband (Formerly Full Channel) on 15; and Verizon, on channel 34.
