MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Committee meets tomorrow to consider hospital sale bill
|
STATE HOUSE – The House Finance Committee will be meeting tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House to consider legislation concerning the sale of Fatima and Roger Williams hospitals. Testimony on the bill was heard by the committee on Feb. 3.
The legislation (2026-H 7408), sponsored by House Finance Committee Chairman Marvin L. Abney (D-Dist. 73, Newport, Middletown), would make revised appropriations to support the sale of Roger Williams Medical Center and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.
