MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Committee meets three times this week to hear hospital sale bill and budget articles

STATE HOUSE – The House Finance Committee will be meeting three times this week to hear legislation concerning the sale of Fatima and Roger Williams hospitals and budget articles.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3 at the RISE of the House (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 35 of the State House, the committee will hear testimony on legislation (2026-H 7408) sponsored by Rep. Marvin L. Abney (D-Dist. 73, Newport, Middletown) that would make revised appropriations to support the sale of Roger Williams Medical Center and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.
The committee will also hear the following FY 27 budget articles:
On Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 4 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the committee will hear the following FY 27 budget articles:
On Thursday, Feb. 5 at the RISE of the House (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 35 of the State House, the committee will hear the following budget articles:
