Media Advisory: Housing Affordability Commission to delve into impact of insurance market on affordable housing
|
STATE HOUSE – The Special Legislative Commission to Study Housing Affordability will meet Thursday for presentations on the current home insurance market in Rhode Island and its impact on affordable housing.
The meeting is scheduled Thursday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. in the House Lounge on the second floor of the State House.
Scheduled to come before the commission to provide presentations are:

Elizabeth Kelleher Dwyer, director of the Department of Business Regulation

Ernest Shaghalian Jr., sales executive at Butler & Messier Insurance Agency

Frank O’Brien, vice president and general counsel at the Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association.
No public testimony will be taken at this meeting.
