Media Advisory: Housing Affordability Commission to discuss 2025 housing legislation with municipal leaders, planners

STATE HOUSE – The Special Legislative Commission to Study Housing Affordability will meet Thursday for discussions with representatives of municipal leaders and planners about housing legislation enacted in Rhode Island this session.
The meeting is scheduled Thursday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. in the House Lounge on the second floor of the State House.
Scheduled to come before the commission for the discussions are Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns Executive Director Randy Rossi and Ashley Sweet, immediate past president of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Planning Association.
No public testimony will be taken at this meeting.
The meeting will be televised on Capitol Television, which can be seen on Cox channel 61, on i3Broadband channel 15 and on Verizon channel 34. It will be live streamed at capitoltvri.cablecast.tv.
