MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Subcommittees meet this week to hear department budgets
|
STATE HOUSE – House Finance Subcommittees will be meeting multiple times this week to hear testimony on FY 24 Supplemental and FY 25 department budgets.
On Tuesday March 26 at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Public Safety will hear the department budgets for the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Public Defender.
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Camille Vella-Wilkinson (D-Dist. 21, Warwick).
Also, on Tuesday, March 26 at the RISE of the House (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 35, the Subcommittee on Public Safety will hear the department budgets for the Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Corrections.
On Wednesday, March 27 at 3:45 p.m. in Room 35, the Subcommittee on Education will hear the department budgets for the Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission and the State Council on the Arts. At 4:45 p.m., the subcommittee will hear the budgets for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Scott A. Slater (D-Dist. 10, Providence).
