MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Finance meets tomorrow to hear department budgets and budget articles
|
STATE HOUSE – The Senate Finance Committee will meet tomorrow to hear testimony on a department budgets and budget articles.
The committee is chaired by Sen. Louis P. DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton).
On Thursday, March 21 at the RISE of the Senate (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 211 of the State House, the committee will hear the following budget articles from the FY 25 budget:

Article 3 – Section 11 – Deputy State Fire Marshal

Article 3 – Section 16 – Employment Security Contributions
-
Article 3 – Section 23 – Boxing and Wrestling

Article 6 – Section 2 – Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons

Article 6 – Sections 8 and 9 – Tent Certification and Fees
The committee will also hear testimony on the FY 24 Supplemental and FY 25 budgets for the following departments:

Department of Business Regulation

Department of Labor and Training

Department of Corrections
