MEDIA ADVISORY: Joint Senate Finance and Health and Human Services Committee meeting on Tuesday for human services presentation

STATE HOUSE – The Senate Finance Committee and the Senate Health and Human Services Committee will hold a joint meeting on Tuesday, January 30 at 5:30 p.m. in the Senate Lounge of the State House to hear a presentation on the social and human services program review process.
The presentation will be delivered by the Rhode Island Office of the Health Insurance Commission and Milliman, Inc., and there will be no public testimony taken at the meeting.
The Senate Finance Committee is chaired by Sen. Louis P. DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton) and the Senate Health and Human Services Committee is chaired by Sen. Joshua Miller (D-Dist. 28, Cranston, Providence).
The meeting will be televised live by Capitol Television, which can be seen on Cox channel 61, on i3Broadband channel 15 and on Verizon channel 34. It will be live streamed at www.capitoltvri.cablecast.tv.
