MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Finance Committee Chairman DiPalma to host Syracuse University student presentation on fiscal impacts of Rhode Island's electric vehicle transition on Tuesday

STATE HOUSE — Sen. Louis P. DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton), Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, will host members of the Syracuse University Dynamic Sustainability Lab next week for a presentation on the fiscal impacts to the state regarding transitioning to electric vehicles.
The presentation will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at 2:30 p.m. in Room 313 of the State House and will examine options Rhode Island has to fund infrastructure projects with declining gas tax revenues due to the increasing adoption of electric vehicles in Rhode Island.
