MEDIA ADVISORY: House votes on Equality in Abortion Coverage Act today
|
STATE HOUSE – The House of Representatives will consider the Equality in Abortion Coverage Act today, April 27 at 4 p.m. in the House chamber.
The legislation (2023-H 5006), sponsored by Majority Whip Katherine S. Kazarian (D-Dist. 63, East Providence, Pawtucket), will ensure that individuals on Medicaid and state health insurance plans have coverage for abortion procedures
