MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Finance meets on Thursday to review ARPA spending
|
STATE HOUSE – The Senate Finance Committee will be meeting on Thursday, January 12 at 5 p.m. in Room 313 of the State House to receive an update from the Governor’s Administration on previously authorized federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State Fiscal Recovery Fund (SFRF) programs and appropriations.
The committee is chaired by Sen. Louis P. DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton).
Testimony at the meeting will include:

Review of appropriations made for FY2022 and FY2023

Updates to U.S. Treasury guidance around SFRF uses

R.I. Pandemic Recovery Office approval processes and progress

Updates on challenges administering and/or executing the SFRF appropriations
