STATE HOUSE — The House Committee on Oversight is scheduled to meet today to hear an update on the state of Providence schools.

The committee will meet Thursday, Dec. 15, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Room 101 on the first floor of the State House.

The meeting will be televised by Capitol Television on Cox Communications (channels 15, 61, and 1061 for high definition), Full Channel (on 15) and Verizon (on channel 34).
