5/31/2022 MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Finance Committee meets twice this week to listen to governor’s budget amendments
STATE HOUSE — The Senate Finance Committee is scheduled to meet twice this week to hear testimony on amendments to the governor’s proposed budget.

The committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday, May 31, at the rise of the Senate (about 4:30 p.m.) in the Senate Lounge on the second floor of the State House.

Members will hear testimony on budget Amendment 15, 16, 17 and 18, which make changes to the appropriation amounts of certain budget items.

The committee will also meet Thursday, June 2, at the rise of the Senate in the Senate Lounge on the second floor of the State House

Members will hear testimony on amendments to the budget of the Office of the Attorney General, including Amendment 9, dealing with the multi-state opioid settlements and the Opioid Stewardship Fund; and Amendment 19, relating to Debt Management Act Joint Resolution for URI Fine Arts Center.
