Rep. Biah welcomes Liberian Senator Saah Joseph to the State House
|
STATE HOUSE – Rep. Nathan W. Biah (D-Dist. 3, Providence), left, presenting Senator Saah Joseph of the Republic of Liberia, right, with a Rhode Island House citation thanking him for his exceptional meritorious service during the Ebola pandemic.
“Senator Joseph’s leadership, service, commitment and dedication reflects and brings great credit to himself, the people of Monteserrado County, and the Republic of Liberia. This is especially true when considering the uncertainty and danger that the Ebola virus pandemic presented to Senator Joseph and his people, and more importantly, to how they responded when faced with that dreadful threat. On behalf of Rhode Island’s Liberian community, I thank Senator Joseph for his heroic service as the head of the First Response Ebola Team during the pandemic and for the countless lives he saved during that frightening time in Liberia,” said Representative Biah.
