MEDIA ADVISORY: Sen. Cano to host Colombian artist at State House and in Pawtucket on Friday and Saturday

 STATE HOUSE – Sen. Sandra Cano (D-Dist. 8, Providence) will be hosting Colombian mural artist Gabriel Calle Arango at an art exhibition at the State House and at a mural inauguration in Pawtucket on Friday and Saturday of this week.
On Friday, November 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the State House, Senator Cano will host an art exhibition exhibiting the works of Gabriel Calle Arango.
On Saturday, November 13 from 11-12:30 p.m. at Slater Park Recreational Office, Gabriel Calle Arango will be painting a mural for the City of Pawtucket.
“I hope everyone can join us in celebrating the work of Gabriel Calle Arango. He is a true voice of Colombia and his work will not only resonate with Colombian Americans in Rhode Island, but also to anyone else who loves community-building art and culture,” said Senator Cano.
