Rep. Cardillo receives committee assignments
|
STATE HOUSE — Speaker of the House K. Joseph Shekarchi (D-Dist. 23, Warwick) has appointed Rep. Edward T. Cardillo Jr. (D-Dist. 42, Johnston, Cranston) to serve on the House Labor Committee and the Committee on Municipal Government and Housing.
The House Labor Committee deliberates legislation relating to workers’ compensation and labor laws. The House Committee on Municipal Government considers all matters affecting municipal governments, housing and transportation.
Representative Cardillo was elected to the House in November. He was sworn in on Jan. 5.
