Gordon E. Rogers (R-Dist. 21, Coventry, Foster, Scituate, West Greenwich) was
born on December 22, 1964. He is married to Heidi (Weston) and they have four
children and seven grandchildren.
Raised on a dairy farm, he is a Foster native who graduated from Ponaganset
High School and now owns three small businesses in Foster: GTH Construction,
Stone House Inn and Rogers Farm.
Rogers was first elected to the Foster Town Council as president in 2010 and
served three terms on the council. He is a past member of the Foster Economic
Development Advisory Committee and past member of the Foster Police Station
Senator Rogers is an active volunteer in his hometown. He has been a member
of the Moosup Valley Fire Department since 1980 and currently serves as
lieutenant. He is also a volunteer EMT.
