MEDIA ADVISORY: Rep. Casimiro to present a resolution declaring September as ‘Childhood Cancer Awareness Month’ on Tuesday

 STATE HOUSE – Rep. Julie A. Casimiro (D-Dist. 31, North Kingstown, Exeter) will be presenting a House resolution declaring that September be recognized as “Childhood Cancer Awareness Month” on Tuesday, September 21 at 3 p.m. in the Rotunda of the State House.
Representative Casimiro will be presenting the resolution to her constituent, Samantha Ronci. Samantha is a 17 year old student at North Kingstown High School who formed a nonprofit named “Sami’s Sendoffs” where she puts together custom care packages for patients of childhood cancer.
