MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Subcommittees meet four times this week to continue hearing department budgets
STATE HOUSE – The House Finance Subcommittees will meet this week to continue hearing testimony on department budgets from the FY 2024 (
) budget and the FY 2023 (
) supplemental budget.
Tuesday, March 14 at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on General Government, chaired by Rep. Alex D. Marszalkowski (D-Dist. 52, Cumberland), will hear testimony on the Office of the General Treasurer and the Ethics Commission.
Tuesday, March 14 at the RISE of the House (approximately 5 p.m.) in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on Environment and Transportation, chaired by Rep. William W. O’Brien (D-Dist. 54, North Providence), will hear testimony on the Department of Environmental Management and the Coastal Resources Management Council. Both committee hearings are weather dependent.
Wednesday, March 15 at 4 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on Human Services, chaired by Rep. Teresa A. Tanzi (D-Dist. 34, Narragansett, South Kingstown), will hear testimony on the Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Governor’s Commission on Disabilities, the Office of Veterans Services and the Department of Health.
Thursday, March 16 at the 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House
, the Subcommittee on Public Safety, chaired by Rep. Camille Vella-Wilkinson (D-Dist. 21, Warwick), will hear testimony on the Emergency Management Agency and Military Staff.
