MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Rules, Government Ethics and Oversight Committee meets Monday for an overview of COVID-19 testing in RI

STATE HOUSE – The Senate Committee on Rules, Government Ethics and Oversight will be meeting virtually via WebEx on Monday, January 24 at 5:30 p.m. for an overview of COVID-19 testing in Rhode Island.
The committee is chaired by Sen. Louis P. DiPalma (D-Dist. 12, Middletown, Little Compton, Newport, Tiverton) and will hear presentations from the following individuals:

Tom McCarthy, Deputy Director, Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH)

Marc Pappas, Senior Advisor to the Governor and Chief Covid Administrator

Christine Goulette, Deputy Covid Director, RIDOH

Kristine Campagna, Chief Operating Officer for the Covid Response, RIDOH

Neil Hytinen, Chief Public Affairs Officer and Legislative Liaison, RIDOH
Members of the public wishing to testify may submit written testimony to SLegislation@rilegislature.gov.
Members of the public can request to provide verbal testimony to the committee through the following link: VERBAL TESTIMONY. Requests to provide verbal testimony must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
