MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Subcommittees meet three times this week to hear department budgets in FY 2020 budget and FY 2019 revised budget

STATE HOUSE – The House Finance Subcommittees will be meeting three times this week to hear testimony on department budgets in the FY 2020 budget proposal and the FY 2019 revised supplemental budget.
On Tuesday, March 19 at the 2:30 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on General Government will hear testimony on the Office of the Governor, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, the Ethics Commission, and the Commission for Human Rights. Rep. Michael A. Morin (D-Dist. 49, Woonsocket) is the chairman of the subcommittee.
On Wednesday, March 20 at 2:00 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Human Services will hear testimony on the Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and the Department of Health. Rep. Alex D. Marszalkowski (D-Dist. 52, Cumberland) is the chairman of the subcommittee.
On Thursday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Public Safety will hear testimony on the Emergency Management Agency and the Office of the Public Defender. Rep. Jean Philippe Barros (D-Dist. 59, Pawtucket) is the chairman of the subcommittee.
