2/28/2022 Media Advisory: Special commissions to meet jointly tomorrow on intersecting housing development issues
STATE HOUSE – Two special legislative commissions working on issues related to the state’s housing crisis and development will meet jointly tomorrow.

The Special Legislative Commission to Study the Rhode Island Low and Moderate Income Housing Act and the Special Legislative Commission to Study the Entire Area of Land Use, Preservation, Development, Housing, Environment and Regulation will meet jointly tomorrow, Tuesday, March 1, at 1 p.m. in the House Lounge on the second floor of the State House.

On the agenda is a presentation by Ron Phipps of Phipps Realty and a group discussion on topics raised by both commissions.

There will be no public testimony taken at this meeting.

The meeting will be televised on Capitol Television, which can be seen on Cox Channels 15, and 61, in high definition on Cox Channel 1061, on Full Channel on Channel 15 and on Channel 34 by Verizon subscribers. It will also be live streamed https://www.rilegislature.gov/CapTV/Pages/default.aspx.
