MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Finance Committee plans three meetings to address American Rescue Plan Act spending

STATE HOUSE — The Senate Finance Committee is scheduled to meet three times over the next two weeks to hear public testimony on American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) spending proposals.
The first meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. in Room 313 on the third floor of the State House. The committee is expected to hear testimony on the spending proposal as it relates to general government and education.
The second meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 313, where the committee is expected to hear testimony on the spending proposal as it relates to public safety, natural resources and transportation.
The third meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 22, at 5: 30 p.m. in Room 313, where the committee is expected to hear testimony on the spending proposal as it relates to Health and Human Services.
The Senate Finance Committee is chaired by Sen. Ryan W. Pearson (D-Dist. 19, Cumberland, Lincoln).
