MEDIA ADVISORY: Sen. Euer to host rent and mortgage relief virtual discussion tomorrow

STATE HOUSE – Sen. Dawn Euer (D-Dist. 13, Newport, Jamestown) will be holding a virtual panel discussion on available rent and mortgage relief programs tomorrow, Wednesday, September 1 at 1 p.m. The event will be livestreamed on the WhatsUpNewp Facebook page.
The panel presenters will be Christine Hunsinger, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at RI Housing; Angela Downing, Director of Social Services; and Cindy Nemet, Family Advocate Safety Net from EBCAP Family Development.
The focus of the event is to detail the Rhode Island homeowner assistance and rent and utility relief programs available to those in need, including the application process and eligibility requirements to assist those individuals and families who have fallen behind on their housing payments, and related expenses, as a result of COVID-19. There will also be a Q & A segment following the presentations.
