McGaw named to House committees on State Government and Elections, Veterans’ Affairs
|
 STATE HOUSE – Rep. Michelle McGaw has been appointed to the House of Representatives Committee on State Government and Elections and its Veterans’ Affairs Committee, House Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi has announced.
The State Government and Elections Committee considers legislation relating to state affairs, governmental departments and divisions, administrative procedures, open meetings, elections law and constitutional amendments.
The Veterans’ Affairs handles all legislation impacting the lives of Rhode Island veterans and those currently in military service.
Representative McGaw (D-Dist. 71, Portsmouth, Tiverton, Little Compton) is serving her first term in the House of Representatives.
