2/3/2021 Rep. Biah receives committee assignments
STATE HOUSE – Rep. Nathan W. Biah (D-Dist. 3, Providence) has been appointed by House Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi (D-Dist. 23, Warwick) to serve on the House Education Committee and the House Health and Human Services Committee.

“Making sure that our children receive the high-quality education that they deserve has always been a passion of mine and I am excited to be able to advocate for our kids by serving on the House Education and Human Services Committees.  I thank Speaker Shekarchi for appointing me to these important committees and I am eager to tackle the issues that are affecting our kids and families,” said Representative Biah.

Elected to the Rhode Island House of Representatives in November of 2020, Representative Biah is the principal at Dr. Jorge Alvarez High School in Providence.
