MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Special Legislation and Veterans Affairs Committee meets Monday for an update on veterans’ issues

STATE HOUSE – The Senate Committee on Special Legislation and Veterans Affairs will be meeting virtually via WebEx on Monday, February 1 at 4 p.m. to hear an update on veterans’ issues.
The presentation will be given by Director of the RI Office of Veterans Services, Kasim Yarn, and will update the committee on the following topics:

COVID-19 response efforts at the RI Veterans Home

RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery Update

RIServes Program and Network Update

RI Office of Veterans Services 2020 Annual Report
