Media Advisory: R.I. legislators to roll out ‘Fair Shot Agenda 2018’

Coalition of representatives announce legislative package designed to give every Rhode Islander an opportunity to succeed
STATE HOUSE – A large group of state representatives from across Rhode Island will join together for an event Thursday to announce their support for the “Fair Shot Agenda 2018,” a package of four legislative solutions they propose to help address the growing gap between the wealthy and the middle class, remove long-standing inequalities blocking opportunities for working families and give every Rhode Islander a fair shot. Representatives will outline each component of the package, explain their support for the Fair Shot Agenda, and describe their legislative strategy for the session.
The event is scheduled Thursday, Feb. 8, at 3:30 p.m. in the House Lounge on the second floor of the State House.
