1/16/2014 Casey to hold constituent forums in Woonsocket
WOONSOCKET – Rep. Stephen M. Casey (D-Dist. 50, Woonsocket) is hosting his first set of constituent forums as a state representative so the residents of District 50 can approach him about legislative issues and concerns.

“I want to reach out to all of my constituents and engage in some conversation about how best I can serve District 50 – both on the state and local level – in a welcoming environment,” Representative Casey said. “This is the time for them to share any concerns or ideas they might have about anything relating to Woonsocket, the economy, health care, the environment, social justice, and other relevant topics. We just started a brand new legislative session and there’s so much potential for positive change. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing some of my constituents and starting a dialogue.”

The following is the schedule for the Woonsocket meetings:

• Monday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. at St, Joseph’s Veterans Hall, 99 Louise St.

• Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. at Stage Right Studio, 68 South Main St. (behind Museum of Work & Culture).

• Monday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. at St. James Baptist Church, 340 South Main St.

Representative Casey is one of 16 members of the state House of Representatives who are serving freshman terms. He serves on the House Committee on Labor and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.
